RA 10587, Section 32: "All registered and licensed environmental planners shall organize themselves into one (1) national organization that is duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The Board, subject to approval by the Commission, shall accredit the said organization as the one and only accredited national organization of registered and licensed environmental planners. xxx"

ABOUT PIEP


PIEP is the national professional organization of all licensed and registered environmental (urban) planners in the Philippines. It is a non-government, nonprofit, non-partisan organization duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission, with the goals of promoting, advancing, and raising the standards of study and practice of environmental planning in the Philippines.

VISION

PIEP envisions a fully professionalized and empowered community of environmental planners who are recognized as key contributors to sustainable, inclusive, and resilient development, guided by the principles of Republic Act No. 10587, strengthened by continuous learning, ethical practice, and strategic partnerships.

MISSION

To achieve our vision, PIEP shall uphold the highest standards of professional practice in environmental planning; empower environmental planners through continuous learning and capacity building; promote ethical, science-based, and participatory planning; and build strategic partnerships that enable planners to contribute meaningfully to sustainable, inclusive, and resilient national and local development.
